Community Wellness promotes wellness in our communities by preventing problems before they occur. We work with community partners to create healthy places to live, learn, work and play.

Healthier Living with Chronic Pain and/or Conditions Workshops

The Community Wellness Division of Mendocino County’s Public Health Department presents a FREE 6-week workshop over Zoom: Healthier Living with Chronic Pain, September 11 through October 23, 2023.

This class is for those living with pain as well as for those who live with, love, or care for someone in chronic pain. Classes are highly participatory and a good opportunity to meet other people who have similar health conditions. Participants will make weekly action plans, share experiences, and help each other in problem solving along the way. Techniques to deal with problems such as frustration, fatigue and isolation will be highlighted.
